JOSE DURAN

"If it doesn't exist the way I see it, I'll build it."

Born and raised with deep Mexican roots, Jose Duran Rendon is an Austin, Texas-based independent filmmaker and visual artist who found his voice behind a camera. Growing up surrounded by music, street culture, and a city constantly evolving, he discovered filmmaking as the one language that could hold all of it together.

What started as documenting friends and everyday moments grew into a full creative practice — directing music videos, color grading, motion graphics, and animation. All built from the ground up. Self-taught and driven by instinct, Jose approaches every project with a visual identity tailored to the music, never a template.

He has collaborated with artists including Micro TDH, Loreana, Gio VSC, ZazoWan, Dr. Rheal, Eden Arte, Pipo Martinez, and Andres T — building visuals that don't just accompany the music, but live inside it. Raw, intentional, and deeply personal. Every color, cut, and frame is made to feel like it could only belong to that song.
